DMR2 illuminated or DMR2 Pro non illuminated?

Both new scopes, the same price. Will be used for hunting and shooting steel. Which is the better option? Basically giving up illumination for better (ED) glass.
 
The optics in the DMR2 are very good. Not quite that of the Pro, however, if the illumination is of interest, IMO, illumination in the long run would be more beneficial than the slightly superior optics of the Pro
 
I shot the 22Creedmoor with the DMR2 today. I cannot find a fault in this scope at the price point ($725) delivered its a rock.
