Hello, which Breechplug does the muzzloader barrel have? 209 primers or percussion caps? I'm still researching stocking options but this may be a decent choice for my up and coming sons first rifle. Thanks

The breech plug is for the 209 primers (QRBP), I bought it originally for the same reason but ended up enjoying it myself for it's compact length and 25" barrel velocity.
