SOLD/EXPIRED Custom Tikka, carbonsix 300wsm, Stockys, Hawkins

This started as a stainless laminate 300win t3. I had it cerekoted, bolt fluted and rebarreled with this 26inch carbonsix barrel chambered in 300wsm, in a stockys m50 carbon fiber stock. This is a long action set up, running out of 300rum aics mags. Has been fired less than 100 factory rounds. Shoots hornady precision hunter 1/4moa. Factory trigger has been untouched.

As pictured it weighs 9.4oz. Scope is 19oz, and is not included.

Will include 1 aics 300rum mag, and Hawkins precision 30mm hybrid rings.

This might be a dumb question but how difficult is it to change the bottom metal/magazine assembly to a more flush fit, even a non detachable mag??
I love everything about the rifle but have just never warmed up the longer mags.

I dont know of any non detachable mag options for a tikka. I'm sure you could run factory bottom metal with the factory wsm mags.

Does the Tikka factory Mag fit more flush? I guess the reasoning behind the longer mags is to hold more rounds? Any other benefit? Would the factory be too short to load closer to the lands?

Factory would fit more flush. Would be limited to sa length coal. Vs 300rum coal. Also factory is 3rnds, over 5rnds.

Would the entire bottom metal need to be changed out? Sorry to be so uninformed....obviously I don't have any experience w/Tikkas.

Yes, this is an aftermarket aluminum bottom metal for aics magazines.
