Original 270 Win. blue barrel was replaced with a new, unfired 116 Stainless Steel 270 Win. barrel with a stainless steel Sharp Shooters Supply Competition Recoil Lug and barrel nut. Receiver ring and recoil lug glass bedded and barrel free floated. Custom olive drab, white & black web painting and clear coat final finish. Original scope bases included. Thirty rounds fired on stainless steel barrel. Original blue barrel was sold (plan was to rebore it to 35 Whelen). I have a Win. 70 Featherweight in 270 Win., so no need for two in this caliber.
