Practicing social isolation? Look no further. Intended to be an M40A5 clone with some minor changes. Assembled by a local gunsmith who came recommended by Gary Schneider. Components include:
Remington 700 short action receiver, with Badger tactical bolt knob & tuned Remington X-Mark trigger
Schneider barrel, 20", 1/11" twist, P5 rifling, M40/M24 contour, 5/8 x 24 threaded muzzle
Thunder Beast 30CB Brake (external threads for suppressor attachment)
Badger 20 MOA steel scope base
McMillan A5 stock, fully adjustable, bipod stud and flush cup on bottom front, flush cup on bottom rear, bedded
Badger M5 DBM trigger guard with 2 Accuracy International 5 round magazines
Nightforce 34mm aluminum scope rings, 1" height
***Nightforce ATACR (scope) and Harris bipod do not come with this rifle***
This rifle has 840 rounds through the barrel with an estimated barrel life of 8,000 rounds. 1/2 MOA accuarcy with factory ammo. The rifle likes Federal 175gn BTHP, but shoots Lapua 167gn HPBT Scenar even better. The rifle, unloaded, without scope, or bipods weighs 11.5 lbs. For reference, it weighs about 15 lbs as seen in picture.
