I currently have a Tikka T3 lite stainless 7mm RM with a EGW 20 MOA base, Weaver Tactical High Rings holding a Sightron SII Big Sky 4-14.5x44 scope. With the new setup I cannot get a good cheek weld and I am looking at a raised cheekpiece. I'm not a big fan of using the neoprene sleeve with inserts or the type that requires holes drilled in the stock. As an alternative I am looking at building a custom one out of carbon fiber, kevlar, or fiberglass and bonding it to the stock with epoxy. Has anyone tried this and have any recomendations.

Thanks

Hi you can try using a simple foam mat cut out. just get a foam sleeping mat cut out the shape you want and glue on. doesnt look good but it works and costs nothing.i have this on my stock and have seen it done heaps. just an idea for the poor hunters out there haha
