This was my Second elk rifle brought on my trips-just in case my "Ultimate" let me down-Never did, so I never really had this rifle afield. Sighted in at 300yds-turrret let's you kill a bull at 700yds with this 5lb 4oz stick. (6lbs 6oz pictured). I have gotten 1/2" grps @ 100yds with factory ammo. About 3-4" at 300yds (thick crosshairs cover about 2" at 300) To prove to a Colorado Wrangler who was a rifle nut also how great of an elk belter this is, at camp after the hunt I blasted a milk jug at 440yds ranged off shooting sticks. Everything is in place-Compact-Light, accurate and powerful- for most elk hunters-this rifle is all you need. Can break up rig to suit. Scratches on stock was my wedding band during recoil. $1975.
W/o scope you keep Turret(other Leupolds it will fit) $1625
Barreled action-no stock or scope(I can use this stock) $1100 with ammo.
You may want a different stock-this one is tiny. Questions? (315) 404-2994
