Here's a cool custom 700 I just picked up.
Action is very slick.
30-375AI -- 375 H&H case necked down to .308 then Improved.
Seems like in between 300win mag and 300RUM. Pic is 300wm --30-375AI -- 300RUM for comparison.
27" stainless fluted barrel that has been Magnaported.
McMillan Swirly Thumb hole stock 13" LOP. Nicely bedded. BDL
Timney trigger. Looks like Redfield/Leupold bases & rings 30mm.
50 loaded rounds 210 BVLD / Plus 13 loaded but don't chamber / 4 brass- shot by me.
3 shot grp is 110yds off my portable shootin tripod -- it is not perfectly steady ! 1 fouler @ 50 yds to get it on paper.
2 Fire forming dies and a resize/decap/expand die. Guy I got if from said full die set-but missing seater die. Disappointed I was. Though any good handloader can seat bullets for this with another seater die for a different cartridge.
Too much of a big boomer for me. I think this rifle has plenty potential. Hunt it a few years with ammo-then decide.
I feel a fair price at $1350.
Swaro X5 stays home. Or add $2250
