Custom Remington Model 700 from Frank Wells, Tucson, AZ. chambered in 25-06 Rem. 23" barrel of unknown manufacturer. I measured it at a 1-10" twist. The rifle was from an estate, hence I do not know the round count. The bore is bright and rifling shiny. I test fired a sample group with my favorite 25-06 load using a Nosler 110 AB. 3 shot group was at .75". Gentry side swing safety. Factory trigger very nice. Stock is beautiful and well executed with great wood to metal fit. Forend tip that I believe is ebony. 1" Pachmyr Decelerator pad, shadowline cheekrest, LOP is 13.5". The rifle stock was not checkered when I received the rifle. I had Robert Oates, Mt. Pleasant, MI put an attractive, flawless point pattern.
