Got this rifle from a Tennessee Farmer, had it built last summer. He weighed in at 300 pounds--got a bypass and he's now 165 lbs now. Can't take the recoil. He says it shot great with 225NAB at 1000yds. Not a hunter he's just a shooter. Says about 50 rounds through it--I don't have brass or reloading data. Bobby Hart personally presented him with the rifle-so we know it shoots. Rifle looks almost new-still has Hart sticker. Enough of that. 26" Hart intermintedly fluted stainless barrel plus 1.5" Hart break. Rollmarked 338 Hart-but it's an Edge. Stainless receiver that I'm sure got everything done to it--very slick bolt cranking. Jewel trigger. Quality picattiny mount. McMillan Mcswirly Hart sporter 80% black, balance white/tan. Included is redding custom dies. Scope/rings/bipod stays home. I set this up to go on an October elk hunt-but too heavy for my even though it has the finest long range potential. I never shot it. Rifle alone 8.25lbs-which is very light for most 338 edge's I see here on LRH. I hunt with a 5.75lb 300RUM. Anyway $2575 Rich (315)404-2994
