Selling my 300 NMI rifle I built with hope's of competing in an ELR 2K yard match. Just ain't gonna have the time to do it with work so I need to offload the rifle.
Rifle only has 50 rounds down the barrel. I 9nly did initial speed testing. Found a promising load that was shooting around 2" at 500 yards, but never tuned it any further due to lack of time.
Rifle specs:
Action - Defiance Deviant Tactical Lapua, Single shot, integral 30 MOA picatinny rail, integral recoil lug, right bolt/left port, PVD coated bolt. Full specs listed below in photo.
Trigger - Jewell HVR bottom safety set at around 3 oz.
Stock - Manners T4A, heavy fill, custom Arca swiss rail on fore end and bag riding rail on rear (all removeable), custom paint. Bedded to action with Marine Tex
Barrel - Broughton 308 cal 1 in 8" twist, 5C rifling, heavy contour, 31" long
Brake - Area 419 Sidewinder self timing brake. Stainless steel nitrided. Excellent recoil reduction.
Accessories:
- Custom built heavy bipod with fully adjustable fulcrum point on the Arca rail
- Custom 4" wide front rest bag riding plate that also attaches to the Arca rail.
- Custom adjustable height rear rail ski monopod
