This is an extremely accurate rifle. I had a few rounds that I just wanted to shoot and then use the brass. 6 rds into 1 ragged hole. Thought I kept that target but it's not to be found. It loves the Berger 168's. With the 8.5 twist I Got about 3/4 inch groups with the 180's. I'll include a factory unopened bag of 50 Remington brass for it to get the buyer going. Brass is not for sale otherwise. I put way under 100 rds through it. So total so far should be 250-300. I'm selling it because I have another 7 SAUM set up for the 180's that shoots as well as this one. Never gets taken out. Really not looking for trades. Adding to the trophy fee fund for Africa later this year. One mark on underside of barrel. Otherwise in pretty nice shape.
Price is $2490 shipped in a cheap plastic case with insurance.

What speed do you get with the 168?

I never checked the 168's. Those were a few he threw in when I got it. The 180's maxed out between 2780 and 2900 depending on the powder used. Retumbo and N570 got me to 2900. Plan on 2950 and anything above that as a bonus.

Someone is gonna get a smoking deal on a heckuva nice rifle. Where was this, along with 3 or 4 others I've seen lately, when I was flush with cash and searching aggressively for rifle in this size class??
I ended up with a pretty special build but at a considerably higher cost.
Somebody should buy this, at that price, at warp speed.

I was asked about the exact weight on another forum. It weighs 8 lbs and 7 oz with the rail on a postal scale.
