I have a awesome shooting 338 lapua Rouge (37° shoulder)built 2 years ago. Has been hunted with. 158 rounds down barrel. Build specs are as followed
-Pierce Titanium 338 action.. spiral fluted bolt and custom bolt knob
-boxed opened up for a wyatts 4.00 mag box
-proof 338 carbon barrel 27 inches in length
- T3 terminator brake
- jewell trigger set at 1.5lbs
- manners Carbon fill EH style T5A stock
-30MOA rail mount from Pierce
- whidden custom dies.. with 2 seating stems for bergers or shorter bullets
Rifle shoots easy 1/2 moa past 1000. Shoots the 300 bergers at 3050fps. I build this rifle as a lightweight hammer. With scope it weights at 11 lbs. Without scope its just over 9.4 lbs. Rifle was built with the bore ryder tapered chamber from PTG which shoots amazing.
This rifle would cost over 6k to build with the parts.
