The rifle weighs 6lbs 13oz unloaded. Rifle has only 36 test loads rounds fired with proper break-in: first 15 cleaned after each round fired there after cleaned after every three shots. I only had the time (I graduated law school and my son was born just before) to work up the load never fired it after. Both loads are super accurate. I have included a three shot group fired from a cold barrel at 100 yards in the pictures. I believe there is amazing accuracy potential with this rifle as I barely scratched the surface with 36 rounds fired.
The price includes 100 rounds loaded ammo, RCBS dies with the load, one box of 100 Hornady 147gr ELD-M bullets, Three 50 round boxes Hornady brass new unopened, and 36 rounds of once fired Hornady brass.
Specs:
- Carbon Six- Carbon Fiber Barrel/stainless Sendero Contour , 24",1:8" twist, muzzle threaded 5/8x24 (for suppressor) with stainless, knurled thread cap.

-Atlas Bipod Flush Cup 1913 Radius bipod rail 3.35" installed on stock

-100 rounds of loaded ammo= 50 rounds loaded with Powder Reloder 26 and 50 rounds load with H4831sc; bullets-Hornady 147 grain ELD-M; primers: Federal 215 gold medal match; brass: Hornady
The rifle was built by Danny the owner of D&E Customs. Danny is well known for his rifle builds and only builds custom rifles one at a time to exacting standards. His machining equipment is impressive and has be set up to do one thing: Build long range custom rifles. I purchased a new stainless Remington 700 magnum action with bottom metal directly from Danny when ordered the rifle. The action was trued using Dave Manson Complete Action Accurizing tooling system, Mason match 264 Winchester Magnum finish reamer, target crown, threaded muzzle for a future suppressor with knurled tread cap, bolt lugs are trued and lapped to the receiver, etc. This rifle is truly a work of art and needs a good home.
I will be selling this rifle and one other. I had them both custom built just before I graduated law school with the hope of having two amazing long distance super rifles built to my exacting standards for hunting coues, elk, and aoudad sheep. However, I met this beautiful woman in water law class, fell in love, decided to start a family. My son was born just days before I graduated and since my life has been very busy. I am so busy now I just don't have the time I had hoped to hunt the west. I tell this story for those wondering why I would sell my two custom long range rifles. I simply don't have the time to use them as I had intended. They need a good home with an owner who will put them to good use.
Please feel free to ask questions and I will update the post periodically. Although I don't have a history of selling rifles in this forum, I do have an excellent reputation on gunbroker with 100% feedback, spanning over a decade. I chose Long Range Hunting to sell my two custom rifles because I felt the members have similar expectations and standards as I do and would better appreciate the rifle's qualities, materials, and construction. I will be posting rifle to Gunbroker and will include the link when I do so that members who are interesting in this rifle can see and read my feedbacks my user name is boarhunt A+(69) on Gunbroker
