Getting setup for the granddaughter and I to try some coyote hunting. We have already done some hog and ram hunts and figured the coyote would really test our skills.
Had a couple of ARs not doing much, so attempted to repurpose. Found a nice ball mount that fit our existing shooting sticks, and an adapter plate that attaches to the picatinny rail just past the mag well. Not a perfect balance, but does allow 10 round mags to clear through most of the range of travel. Suppressors are home built and really take a huge bite out of the sound. We did function checks last weekend, and will head back out to our desert range to get both zeroed in. Granddaughter really likes shooting from the mount. Much nicer than just a resting on the plain shooting sticks, and most likely a lot less strain while calling in the coyotes. In the lower right, you can see the Iotec. More later as we progress
