Converting 22-250 to DBM

I would like to convert my Rem 700 BDL in 22-250 to a DBM and was wondering if anyone else had tried this and experienced any feeding problems with the short magazine? I have the parts to do the conversion, but need to fit the stock first and don't want to waste the time bedding the gun if it won't work.
