[Newbie Elk hunter]

I've got first rifle elk tag, boy I can use some help. I know about t black Mesa but what about fruitland Mesa or blue reservoir any ever hunt it. Anything will be helpful I got out there once as I'm out of state. Appreciate any help thanks in advance.

Take a look at the "hunting Atlas" on the CPW website. You can get an idea of where the herds hang out in summer, in winter, and how they migrate.
