I have a like new CA ranger in sitka camo, I made the mistake of mocking up a check riser with cloth tape and it removed some of the finish on stock (see pics)

Just curious, did you check with Christensen on whether that should be under warranty? Do you mind sharing exactly how it happened? I wouldn't think the stock should do that?

Yes sir - sorry, I guess a more appropriate question might have been "exactly what brand cloth tape"? Sorry this has happened, especially to such a beautiful rifle. I can't believe the stock finish on a rifle of that quality wasn't more durable.
