I'm ordering bushings for a Redding Type S Full Length Bushing Die. Below are my specs:

Neck dimensions:
Fired case: .340"-.341"
Expanded w/ Sinclair Mandrel: .336"
Finished cartridge w/ bullet: .337"-.338"

If I'm looking at sizing down to .334" before expanding, is .341" to .334" too big a jump for one bushing? Should I do it in 2 steps? If so, what size bushing?

Thanks in advance for your help.

>5thou tends to oversize, but there is springback from the bushing size.
Also, any more than 1-2thou of bullet interference is just making seating more difficult, and not really contributing to bullet grip.
I think a .334 bushing would be a good pick to begin.

If you chose .334, and it actually sizes to .333, it will springback to .334. Your mandrel would still bring it to .337 and springback to .336 while pushing thickness variance away from bullet bearing.
This is perfect for seating with plenty of bullet grip.
