Looking for advice as I learn more about the tag and preference system for elk hunting in Wyoming. Is it better to go ahead and choose an outfitter and let them handle the process or go ahead and open an account with the game and fish commission and apply for tags and preference points. Seems like I should have started this process 3 or 4 years ago.
