Carnivore diet ...

@FEENIX
I gained a fair bit of weight over the COVID era. I ended up trying out the Keto diet and loved it. I found it was easy to maintain. It was a bit brutal for the first couple weeks when I started, but when my body adjusted life became good and I just watch the weight fly off and I felt better overall! Say no to sugar and carbs! I ended up losing 50ish pounds!

I spend a lot of time mountain biking during the warmer months. When I started the diet, biking felt awful. But I stuck with it, and quickly I was beating my best times by a large margin.

Side note, when I started the diet I moved my adult beverages to vodka/sodas to maintain the diet. I've quit booze completely and I feel even better and it's ridiculously easy to maintain weight without booze.

I've been limiting my burritos lately, and one tortilla here and there will be fine. Rice, pasta and bread are what I eat a lot of, and that will definitely get cut off. Making our own flour tortillas is not a bad idea, we already make our own corn tortillas, why not the flour ones? Thanks brother.
There are several brands that offer keto friendly tortillas.

Last night was my wife's company Christmas party. My main course was very disappointing—an overcooked tri-tip with some bland sauce. The restaurant that catered has done extremely well in the past. Luckily, they had some palatable meat hors d'oeuvres. 🤣

For breakfast today, I'm having Air-fried green beans with parmesan, pan-fried skirt steak seasoned with pomegranate balsamic vinegar, Berbere, Celtic salt, fresh ground pepper, and scrambled eggs.

Congratulations FEENIX ! This diet was made for me. I love meat, hate salads. Sweets are my weakness. If I see pie, cake, etc as long as I don't take "a taste", I'm good. But once I sample it, or have a "small slice", I'm out of control. I have to work on that I guess. I always practice the low carb, keto, etc when eating out or cooking at home. I will look more into the carnivore diet.

For lunch, the wife brought home a fried battered chili stuffed with ground pork from one of the fire departments doing some fundraising. It's not too bad, but the batter tasted too oily for me, so I had to scrape it off.

FYI you are getting too much sugar from fruit drinks, see how many carbs are in that cup. It may seem healthy but it is mainly sugar.

I started Keto in June and am down 45 pounds. I stopped processed foods, sugar and most grains. That old saying, everything in moderation, is not true. Seed oils, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, margarine, all our food with additives.. are the real poison.

Yes, I am aware of it and do not drink all the time. It was leftover from yesterday. The last time I fruit juice was over a month ago.

I have tried about everyting, now it's steak and beer with some testosterone. Lost 16 pounds in 8 months, chest and arms are much larger!!lol

My testosterone got really low, so we tried about everything under the sun before finally trying the jell.
