Carbon fiber stock for Sako 85

Looking to upgrade my Sako 85 270 WSM with carbon fiber stock.
I would greatly appreciated if some suggestions in terms of stock build... thumbhole or no.
Builders and makes/models wise.
Pros and cons.
Sold my laminated stock and would like to build nice sheep hunting/long range rig.
I got tons of brass/bullets and reloading equipment so would like to stay with 270 WSM.
Even links with manufacturers or models are more than helpful.

I went with McMillan for my Finnlight 300 wsm. Sako 85 is a bit of a complicated fit, so you will want to spend time on the phone, which they are GREAT at. Phone them and they will send back a complete list of stocks you can look at for your rifle. Or a shorter list if you limit to carbon fiber. Without that list and a phone call it can take a long time to wade through their website.

Also try MPI for a very custom fit. I chose McMillan but MPI is also well known.

I have a McM Game Scout on my TRG-S, that is not CF, but I have had their Edge stocks also. If I was building a custom rifle it would either be a Game Scout or Game Warden if I went with a traditional stock.

Thanks guys, what are your thoughts on thumbhole stock...buddy of mine got ambidextrous MPI thumbhole and it is great to shoot and carry only thing it was a bit low for prone shooting IMO. Cheekrest is kinda thing that I would like to get

Also is there a difference in recoil in say...AG ferrata or MPI thumbhole.
I heard that bottom comb or whatever name it is called helps with recoil...would like to build a rifle that is easy to carry and shoot but with low recoil. Will be adding a muzzle brake for sure but stock configuration also IMO might be important for recoil reduction.

Check out Fierce Firearms aswell, I believe their carbon stocks are built off a Sako 85.

I like the original stocks alot. I hear good things about Mcmillans edges though. If you decide to go with a different stock I would be interested in the finnlight stock if you sell it.

Hey I would be more than glad to get the stock to someone who need it. However I had laminated stock that it is probably already in the hands of a new happy owner who replaced his Bavarian that he wanted to get it rid of due to high recoil...

Was hoping for more insights to be honest but anything helps.
Is there a members in Canada that knows good gunsmiths or stores that import or manufacture carbon stocks.
Would like to get my gun done and start shooting yotes with it a bit...

Recently restocked a 85 fin light 270 WSM and a 85 Bavarian 300 WSM. Had zero heartburn with either SAKO stock BUT the Game scouts are total quality and improved consistency. Worth the wait.
