Canvas Tents recommendations

Ok,

So I know Davis makes the best tent, but I'm looking to see if anyone could recommend a good spike/herder tent brand? Preferably one that still makes them, I know Davis won't be picking them up until December.

How do you 'know' Davis is best? Ever seen a Beckel Canvas ?

Salem tent and awning makes great tents. Located in Salem Oregon.
