For sale: Bushnell Tac Optics 4.5-30 x 50mm
Several years ago (6-8 years?) I purchased a Bushnell 6500 Elite Tactical 4.5-30 x 50 scope. I used the scope with success on my 300 RUM. It worked well, allowing me to take game between 400 and 900 yards and targets out to 1100.
This past summer, I began having tracking issues. I sent the scope back to Bushnell with a description of the issues. Rather than repairing the scope, they sent me a brand new replacement scope.
Unfortunately, the new scope didn't arrive until after the hunting season started. To avoid having a naked rifle for the season, I had already purchased a used Leupold from a friend. At this point, it makes more sense to recoup some of the money I spent on the used scope now mounted on my rifle, so I am selling this as a "new in the box scope"
Sometime in the last few years, Bushnell renamed the Elite Tactical line "Tac Optics", and marketed a new scope under the "Elite Tactical" name. The Tac Optics scope I am selling is identical to the scope I purchased as a 6500 Elite Tactical.
