I'm on a <$500 budget and would like to get the best scope for my money:D

How's the Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16x40 Multi-X reticle ...

Pro's and con's?

I'll be shooting deer from 100 to 500+ yds max. with a 7RM/140gr NBT

What other scopes should I consider?

I appreciate your help...I need to reach out further at this new hunting area!

Currently running a Sightron 3-9x40mm...I'd like more power...can't hit'em if I can't see'um:D

I've got one mounted on a Rem 700 in 243Win and it works great. It should work fine on your 7mm. I shoot to 700yds. with it and it is very clear. It's amazing how much tighter my groups got with the 4-16 vs 3-9.

Thanks:D

I'm in the process of checking out a few scopes...but may go with this one!

Also, checking out target turrets!

I just mounted a side-focus 4200 6-24X 40mm. Real nice, fairly compact for that X, brunoshooters.com has 'em for 5 bills. Other good choices in your price range: Nikon Monarch, Weaver Grand Slam, Sightron Big Sky, newer Leupold VX II ( now have VX III glass)...
