Hello everyone. I have a tikka t3 with the dovetail groove cut into the top of the reciever, and I'm wanting a pair of rings with the plastic inserts that you can add moa. I'm wanting to keep the scope as low as possible. Does anyone know which exact ring I can put on that will clamp to my dovetail on my rifle so I don't need to buy a rail, and has the inserts. Thanks.

I have some medium 30 mm rings on a model 70 with weaver bases. They are a bit too tall, bottom of base to bottom of rings is .5 of an inch. If that helps at all?

I believe if you want to run the Burris Zee rings you'll need to put a picatinny rail or Weaver bases on top of your receiver as the Zee rings are setup for Weaver/Pic mounting. That's what I had to do for a hunting buddy about 4 years ago. I'm not aware of any other rings that are like the Zee rings that would directly fit the 16mm (5/8") dovetail on the T3. Some Google-foo may help you find a different solution.
