Dear all

Is anyone using the Burris XTR signature rings to mount an ATACR (56mm obj) in standard weaver (no incline) bases?

I am about to push the button on ordering one of these scopes but would like to mount it in the XTR rings so I suppose I'm doing my diligence before ordering one.

If anyone is could I ask what height you are using? From the website it looks like they do two heights which are medium (1" high) and high (1.5") - not sure what the height dims refer to exactly.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I've got them on my SWFA 5 - 15 x 42 mil/mil FP scope with 30 mm tube. They are very secure rings.

With an ATACR scope you SHOULD have a 20 MOA Picatinny rail to maximize its vertical range. Just do it and then when you need to dial to the max you'll have the ability to get to your distance in the other zip code.
