Burris Exteme scope, the scoop?

Anybody using the Burris 6-24x50 Xtreme Tactical XTR 30mm Rifle Scope?


Never thought I would give it a second thought on owning a Burris but the value
is to good to pass up. It's a cheap buy I hear on a very good scope.
Anybody use one or know how good they function and the clarity of glass?

I do not have one so I can't comment on the glass but I believe I read that each click of the turret is 1 MOA. That's pretty course for shots at distance.

Thank you for responding and agreed that 1 moa ain't gonna work.

But, this particular model has 1/4" and that works for me.

Burris dose make good glass, but I dont understand why they used 1MOA ajustments on the XTR. 1/4 MOA ajustments is almost to much in long range shooting. I own and like the Blackdimmond scopes, but they dont have target knobs. I think you may be able to order a Blackdimmond with target knobs but it will cost you a little more money. I have thought about sending mine to Burris and have target knobs installed. Some times custom work is the best way to go. Bill Maylor.
