Hello,
I have a new custom long range rifle: 33 inch .338 Win Mag barrel, Kelbly Tactical action etc. Velocities exceed .338 Lapua with virtually no pressure. In full length sizing with Redding FL die, I find I can close the bolt to its full length, but cannot close down the bolt handle.
A friend suggested a die with a "bump" shoulder feature may be needed and these are common amongst 6PPC benchrest shooters.
I have contacted Whidden and Hornady about this and they were unable to help me.
I am greatly appreciating the ballistics we have gotten and everything dealing with reloading indicates there is virtually no pressure so far since we have started reloading.
I could use some practical advice as to what to do with this reloading challenge.
Thank you in advance,
WW
