Budget rangefinder

For my purpose, 1000yds is a big stretch so what's the best bang for the buck rangefinder that will range to 1000yds in good conditions?

I've had good luck with my Vortex Rangefinder. I honestly haven't had a chance to do much besides trees and other shrubs so no luck ranging game, but vegitation from 10-850 yards (farthest I've attempted) has been no problem.
