I mentioned new flashlights that Browning just introduced - called the Odyssey and here are some specs:
Model Batteries Uninterupted Use
2000 3 AA 300 Hrs
3000 3 C's 600 Hrs
4000 3 D's 700 Hrs
Headlamp 3 AA's 300 Hrs
They are not intended to be super bright, just make light for a hell of a long time. I think they will be great for hunting trips.
Not sure if other manufacturers offer this technology, probably do.
