Friend of mine has an Abolt browning 300 win mag and is having trouble getting a decent group. Best groups have been with rem 180 accutip. Does anyone have any setting for this ammo or a good ammo setting combo?

I believe the factory setting listed in the owners manual says number "8" for the 180's. You will have to go up or down as much as several full numbers to find that guns sweet spot. Mine likes 8.5, and my last customer's liked 7.0.

He might also want to try a Federal 180 gr. Accubond if he is shooting factory ammo.

Well, there has never been a single factory round down my rifle barrel but my handloads (180 Nosler Accubonds and 75-76 RL22) will usually put 3 into 3/8" at 100 yards and sometimes in the right temperature they'll go into the .2's".
