Browning A-Bolt Action

I have an older Browning A-bolt that keeps finding it's way back to me. I was wondering if the older Browning A-bolt action is a suitable action to build from?

By older I mean the bolt itself has some sort of sleeve around it. The newer a-bolt, bolt appears to be one peice as mine is a couple.

I know a few have built off of the A-bolt, but I believe there are better actions more suitable to build from.

Maybe I'll melt it down, and take it to the scrap yard. We'll see if it finds it's way back then!!
