So I have a browning 26 Nosler western hunter. I sighted in never could get a good group with factory ammo tried a couple different Nosler loads 140 gr and 129 gr. Played with a light amount of reloads 127 gr barns and still was very unhappy with the results so I pulled the scope and sent it in to browning. To get it looked at. The barrel was recrowned. And I guess the barrel was lapped. I was very happy with browning customer service and that the rifle is supposedly fixed ( have not shot it yet). My concern is after recrowning the barrel it is just polished and not blues I am afraid it will rust rather quickly. I called and asked them about it and they told that that is better. I am curious on other people's thoughts on this matter.
