Sighting in the new Arken 5-25 scope. Started out using russian steel case. That was giving me about 1- 1+1/2 MOA..... which I thought was pretty good for steel case stuff. Then - once I got the scope close-- I switcher to my handlaods. 60 grain v-max and 23.5 grains varget- 2.25 OAL. My last group was 5 rounds in 3/8 moa. And some of that dispersion was me shaking a little bit because I was in a hurry because it was dusk and I was loosing the light. Now that I have a quality scope--
I think I can see that I must at least near a barrel node. I think I will now go up and down 1/10 grain or 2/10 grain and see if it gets better or worse. And I will try to do it in full sun so I have better contrast.
