Bozeman MT gunsmiths?

I recently moved from the Flathead area down to Bozeman. I will be building a new hunting rifle this winter and will be needing the help of a gunsmith. Just wondering if any of you know of some good gunsmiths in the bozeman area??

Check and see if Rocky Cushman is still operating in Yellowstone Gateway Sports, out at Four Corners.

Rocky is still at Yellowstone Gateway Sports. Payne's Gunsmithing builds some competitor's rifles but don't ask him to install a muzzle brake! You'll get an hour long lecture as to why he does not like them.

As far as a precision gunsmith, the closest one is Columbia Falls. Underground Skunkworks. Mike and Matt over there are a couple of the best in the state.

Ft Shaw is a lot closer than Columbia Falls and APS rifles is located there. None better than Kirby Allen!

I stand corrected! I thought Ft. Shaw was further and yes, Kirby makes some amazing guns!

Check out Gentry Custom Products in Belgrade. Don't know him but my son in law says he is a heck of a gunsmith.

Young's Gunsmithing in Sand Coulee, MT is my recommendation.

Had Dave build me a 6MMBR from ground up and it by far is the best shooter I ever had, plus Dave is a great guy, can't go wrong with him.
