Go to Handgun Hunters International web site. All issues of "The Sixgunner" are free to the public. Scroll thru them & look for articles by me (WV Hitman). I did yearly stories on groundhogs (and deer) explaining handgun performance, bullet performance. About all of my handguns shoot rifle calibers (I don't own any rifles). Plus, I discuss techniques, shooting positions, shooting aides, etc. I've been at this since 1976, so i have a little experience (15,400+ groundhogs).

Didn't think anyone else enjoyed reading anymore….
Rifle puts out an annual magazine that isn't too bad, haven't seen it this spring yet. There was a Varmint Hunters digest (similar to Gun Digest) put out in the 1970s, I think.
That one got me hooked.
Here's a few other good ones by Boyd Mace and Steve Hanson.
