Blueprinted rem action/proof barrel threads?

Last year I had my long action blueprinted and my smith rethreaded it with over size threads. I had him put on a proof barrel in a 28 nosler throated for the 195's. Well I decided to sell the action and now I have a 28 nosler barrel that shoots awesome but no action lol. Will this barrel screw onto a custom action.... if so who's ?

first step would be to know what size/pitch the barrel threading is -- my suggestion since you used a smith for the install, talk to him about your options

Not like it is unless, you have the action threads chased to the same diameter. If you want to reuse the barrel It can be re threaded to fit most any action.

Actions are made to a specific thread diameter and pitch the smith has to match this.

I have a new but older model Stiller predator sold by PTG I was thinking about using. So what your saying is I could just have him rethread the barrel to go on the Stiller action?
