Bipods, swiveling or non swiveling

I am about to purchase my first bipod it will most likely be a harris and it will be used for long range shooting, i just wanna know what is recommended as far as to purchase the swiveling model or not and why ? thanks

Every one I've got swivels and has a PodLoc on it and just as personal preference I also favor the notched leg bipods.

Reason is I've looked and looked and never can find any perfectly flat and level country to hunt in.

Swivel with PodLoc.

The PodLoc can be bought or made with components from McMaster or from T-Nuts.
