Hello, i have for sale my BeStill Custom Omega 40 cal Muzzy. I just received this last fall from Jeff and it is a work of art! I took it to the range and shot it 28 times total on back to back days, but didn't hunt with it as i was pressed for time and didn't get drops figured out in time for my last muzzy hunt of the year and took my 45 cal instead. It is set up with a boyds pro-varmint walnut stock with a 13.75 LOP and 1 inch pachmayr recoil pad. Barrel is 28 inches long, 1 in 15" twist. This is his new barrel with the .400/405" lands/grooves. I am loath to sell this muzzy, but had an unexpected opportunity to buy another stud/packing llama I just can't pass up. Asking $2500 shipped to your door in a hard case, with range rod and loading cleaning jag, bullet starter, primer remover, barrel drops, and drill bit carbon cleaner for breech plug. For $300 more, i will include a 40 cal swinglock smooth sizing die with a Lee hand press as well as 70 pittman aeromax 40 cal 312 gr bullets along with 40 cal wool and veggie wads. So, a pristine, barely used BeStill Creations rig right away and bypassing the wait for one of Jeff's amazing builds. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks!

I have a 50 cal Jeff built with a brake shooting full bores, and he put a brake on a stock Bighorn for me. Been told a couple times during muzzle loader season I could not use a "rifle" during that season. I just get a chuckle and say its a muzzle loading rifle. That usually stumps them enough I can escape the chit chat to keep hunting.

Ha! Yeah, I have had similar situations in the field with my 45 cal muzzy as it doesn't have an on board ramrod. You get some looks and comments for sure!

Man, if my state would allow a 40, I'd be the buyer. If you could hold out till right before season, you'd get a lot better price. Sold my 45 last November for $4850 and had guys lined up to buy it. (Did have a $1200 scope on it)
but that's what Jeff was charging for them and he sent out an email to guys on his wait list, for me. Real stand up guy that makes quality rigs!

Yeah, you are probably right. Plus as you mentioned some states don't allow the .40 cal as well. We will see, may just have to hold it til later in the season.

Bump for a world class smokeless. One of the most dedicated builders in the in-line community and promoters of our shooting industry.

Jeff always has a backlog, he may be able to help you move this If you haven't already spoken with him.

Who made the .40 knurled spinjag? I'm having a .40 Brux barrel Omega built now. I can't find a knurled spinjag for it. Thanks
