No it has a very nice floor plate assembly and the safety is 2 position. The rifle is factory pillar and glass bedded

I had one of these, and it was a great shooter. They have great barrels.

They have a different action than the B14. The Premier has a floating bolt head like the Savage 110, which probably contributes to the outstanding accuracy.
