I know these are brand new and only been out a couple months but has anyone loaded these up yet? I ordered some to load in my 26 Nosler. Want to try and develope a couple of good options for this caliber and thought I'd give these a try. Other bullets I'm going to load will be 127 LRX, 130 VLD, and Hammer 124. Good groups in general in your 6.5 rounds? Thanks!

What twist is your 26 Nosler, 1:8"?

I am running the 156 Elite in my 26" 1:7.5" 6.5SS @ 3000fps low pressure load with fantastic results. I can get them to 3050fps, but accuracy is phenomenal @ 3000.

If you have a 1:7.5" twist, the 131 Hammers are the golden ticket. 1:8" loves the 124s, and a 26 Nosler would get them screaming.

Yes I have a 1:8. I just placed an order today for 124 Hammers. Talked with Steve today and that was his recommendation. Would like to see if I can get the 156 eol to group well also. I'd like to try and find about 3 loads that can group well to have some options. We'll see what happens I guess.

They are very accurate Hammers in 6.5 PRC and the really make the 26 Nosler what it is most capable of. You need 1:8 twist and throated long! From the few animals we have seen taken antelope thru elk they are phenomenal.

Great accuracy in 6.5-284 Norma (28", LW 8t). I think I only tried 3 loads in my rifle, 55.5-56.5gn of Retumbo, which is the same range as my 147gn ELD-M load, and called it good at 56.5gn. It's only averaging 2967fps, es: 23, sd:11.6 over LabRdr but accuracy was definitely there with everything I tried that day.
I usually like to achieve 3000fps, but I felt crunched for time and had a lot of other stuff to do for the NC opener the next day. I may revisit them with more Retumbo, some RL26 and/or a couple more (if I can find 'em).

127 LRX over mid 70s grain weight retumbo and 215 berger. 3400 or so. Killed cow moose with it at 656 five days ago.

they are showing good potential in my 26. I am in the process of working up a load. Call Berger if you haven't done so already and they will give u load data for numerous different powders. I would post but won't be around my reloading bench for a few days.

Bighorn TL3 with a Proof prefit barrel loves them!

The EOL's came today. Long narrow bullet for sure. I can see why they might have some great accuracy for a "heavy" 6.5mm bullet. Just gotta get to work at this point! Thanks for the responses guys! Can't wait to try these out!
