Who has used these bullets on game? I was running the 185 hvlds in my 300wm, but i decided to try the 185 Classics and they group even better than the vlds. I'm just curious how they do on critters.

ive used 168 gr classic hunter in my 7mm wby and 95 gr in 240 wby they just drop dead. furthest ran 15 yards.

I've used the .284 168gr I bought them when the advertised BC was over .6xx and close to the VLD. They later dropped it to around .55x after more testing I guess.

I had a good experience. They shoot well. They're shorter OAL so they will work better in most cases with standard mag boxes. And I had great luck with them killing stuff like they were struck by lightning. If they moved it was less than 10 steps.

I've killed 5 elk with the 168gr classic hunters in a 7mag from 75 yards to nearly 700. 3 were DRT and the other 2 didn't take more than 10 steps.
