With that length barrel 2800-2850 might be possible with even one of the different 4831 powders.

Now that I am reminded by montanamarine's thread, I believe he can too.

I certainly believe it's in the realm of possibilities. Even using Hodgdon's load data a 30-06 with, 24" barrel, H4831, seated at 3.340" is going 2643 fps. Seated out with a proper throat and long barrel might surprise the heck out of us.

Here is the results from Berger Tech Support: They sent me the page that has already been posted to this thread, plus they added one more load.

It reads for the 215gr Hybrid .30 caliber bullet: RL-17 starting load 46.0 grains 2380 FPS Max load 50.3 grains 2593 FPS from a 26" barrel COAL is 3.376".

Loading book Volume 2 was never released due to Covid 19 and Walts passing. RIP
