Berger 168 VLD Hunting Loads in a 308

Best load for my .308 is 45 grains of varget under a Hdy. 168 BTHP. Question is: to transition to the Berger hunting bullet, any idea what would be a reasonable starting load? I figured someone has surely made the the same transition. Thanks for any help!

Coal 2.880. My box magazine is 2.835 max. So I'm looking to upgrade the rifle to a badger dbm.
But then again make the first shot count.
