I'm on the fence and looking to buy one of these rifles. I will be shooting suppressed and this rifle will be for hunting only. EuroOptics is having a sale on the Havak right now which is making this decision even harder. I am looking for pros and cons from those who have these rifles to make my decision.

I have 2 Bergara Premier rifles, a Divide and a Ridgeback. Both shoot well under 1 MOA with factory ammo and the Divide, with the carbon barrel will shoot half MOA with multiple factory loads in different bullet weights. They have been the easy button for me.

Looking at the crest carbon, I am not seeing that it comes with the premier action. For that reason alone, if the Seekins is the same price, I might go that route. That being said, my buddy's non premier HMR shoots lights out as well. Since you will be shooting suppressed, the 22 inch barrel on the crest carbon is probably the best way to go. Just my opinion with my experience.

Can (wont) say anything about the Seekins, because I've never shot or owned one. But can say something about my experience with the HMR-PRO 300 WM from Bergara. Bought one to replace a Winchester featherweight 300 WM killed MANY Elk with that firearm, but wanted to try out the Bergara. For Sure NOT SORRY I did! Out of the Box and Zeroed at 1000" (27) yds, then shooting at a small bore 25 yd target reduced for shooting at 25', BUT SHOT @100 yds. Never did my Winchester group this well, and the HMR-POR HAS Just gotten BETTER!

For me, the Seekins on sale is a no-brainer:

Oh, I wasn't aware of the two different actions on the Bergara. Thanks for the insight. I have a Bergara B14 Rimfire with the Cure Carbon barrel that shoots lights out. I use it for NRL competition as a trainer for my PRS rifle
