Man - so I went through this a few years ago. The SBE3 has a flaw in the recoil system in the stock that messes with its POI. Google is your friend here. Those SBE3 owners that can’t recognize it, are used to missing regularly. I have a few friends buy the SBE3 and it was bad. If you can find a used SBE2, you would be better off. The A400 is awesome, I had it narrowed down to the A400 and the versamax and went with a versamax. I love my versamax, but think I would have been equally as happy with the A400. I go to the dakotas every year chasing pheasants with a guys that shoots one. I mostly upland hunt and at the time remington had the woodtech stock version that I really liked, so that is what lead me to it. Cost was about the same on all three when I was shopping.
