I have for sale a 26" aluminum tensioned Benchmark 4 groove barrel threaded for a small shank Savage. The aluminum tensioning allows for a heavier diameter with lighter weight, similar to a carbon fiber sleeve. The round count is 297 and the barrel work was done by Kevin Rayhill of Stockade to include the Vais muzzle brake. The barrel is also coated with Cerakote H series - Desert Tan

Interesting set up. I have a short action project on my bench right now so I am curious why you are selling this barrel and what accuracy level you achieved with it. Also is the WSM using the magnum bolt head or standard 308?

Only reason I am selling is I have a 6.5 SAUM barrel on its way. Magnum bolt face. I never had any great loads worked up I tried 180 hybrids, 168 vld targets, and a few of the 162 amaxs. Shot from .5 moa to 1 moa. Previous seller said he shot 140 accubonds under .5 moa but I never got around to trying them.




The 162 amaxs are gone.
