Ben Pearson Recurve!

Some idiot threw out a Ben Pearson recurve. I work at a recycle plant and the bow went through our whole sytem and now has scratches and small nicks on it. How would a person fix the scartches? I was thinking wax?

The XX"s before the poundage means take two pounds off the draw weight of 45#.

The question is whether the fiberglass laminate is hurt.
