Belgium browning bolt action in 257 roberts question

Hope this is the right forum for this type of question/discussion. I just acquired a Browning FN (serial# 54xxx L69) in 257 Roberts in a a Safari or Medallion grade, I have been trying to find out "How many were produced in this caliber" to no avail. I have read numerous forums and this is what I think I now know. It is a rare caliber, and it was made in 1969, I believe that it is a Safari. If someone could point me to a website, Point of contact, ext, it would be appreciated. Thanks
